Higher education in Agriculture (Bangladesh)
“Agriculture “at first sense you may assume it’s a general subject of art or business faculty. In our country at secondary and higher secondary level Agriculture is a common subject for dull students and easy to get A+ without any difficulty. But do you know from where you can get a higher degree and what is the basic requirement to study? I am not talking about diploma but B.Sc., PhD or higher degree.
Yes, Agriculture is the top most subject of the world as you think about Medical or Engineering. To study in Agriculture you have to pass your Secondary and higher secondary level with pure science. You may take agriculture as optional subject there but it will not be good for advance learning in Agriculture. So you should take higher math and biology for better understanding where higher math is essential. Your English proficiency must need to be good because the course material of this subject improving or changing very rapidly and update information is available in English only. There is no Bangla medium for higher study in Agriculture.
Agriculture is not a single subject, it is a complex combinations of biology, chemistry, bio chemistry, biotechnology, genetic Engineering, physics, statistics and other related subject because life science is too complex science that no one can never run a artificial life. You know that I am looking for an inexpensive Android tablet phone. I found several numbers of tablets in country market. Most of them have reasonable price especially for seven inch tablet but in case of big size tablet it is increasing dramatically. Here I should inform that seven inch is not comfortable to use as a mini laptop to me.
Where you can go for buying a tablet?
First you should search online. There are many website will provide you current information on this matter. They are correct in price and other features. You can depend on that website. A great fun with my friends by putting a mobile phone on pathway
Today is the most beautiful and charmingday of this month. It have been drizzling all the day long, no class, no homework just beginning of the academic term. So there is no presser for examination or any stress. After a sound sleep getting up late and passing a lazy day. Sleeping and sleeping, nothing is doing but has a lot of work. Moreover now a day may be I am going to be a nocturnal being somewhat like Dracula or something. Going to bed at late night and getting up also extremely late that very often no need to have breakfast or lunch. I know life can't run in this destructive way. I have to change myself.
However this afternoon I went out( for taking fresh air with some of my friends. Environment was amazing, campus was full of young boys and girls. Especially girls are always dominating, more than seventy percent, everywhere. May be this university turning into Women University in near future if our administration do not change admission pattern. It may be a simple trick to avoid student politics, which is strictly prohibited here.
Sorry dear readers may be I am out of my topics. Ok come to our main story. This afternoon when we are coming back to our dormitory one of my friend made a great fun. He keeps his mobile phone on the street of the way of walking and we were observing what is going to happen. The next incidents were extremely funny. Behavior of different person or group was different. When someone got the mobile set on the street than he or she made a peculiar situation. Can you imagine how much funny it was?
Ok what they did it's not a matter just imagineyou are going through a road alone and see an expensive mobile set on the road but there is nobody around. What you will do?
Which one I should buy? An Android phone or a notebook
Right now I am highly interested to buy an android phone having high mega pixel camera on the other hand a netbook also is necessary. About a year I have no computing device except my Nokia E71. Almost all task I can make successful with this device. Besides I am writing this note on my phone. But it is not appropriate for direct BlogSpot posting. But an Android has amazing software and it also support a wide range of applications. Samsung presented a variety of model and I like most of them.
But where is the problem to purchase one of them? Money is problem. At present I have only ten Taka and I will get another ten Taka on coming Eid. The amount is enough (যথেষ্ট)for buying a good Android but my father will give me Taka for a notebook computer. It is also needed for my research activity and study though I am managing my current necessity (জরুরৎ)by using my friend's computer. They are so helpful to me. I can easily run my varsity life without both any more devices. Actually it is time to read for getting a handsome job and I am doing this. In my first three job examination I successfully passed in both written and viva examination including a post for Scientific Officer of “Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization" but I didn't get the job because of lacking in money and link. Again money is problem. It not a matter, life is going on.
However come to the main topic, we were talking about buying an Android or a notebook. Have you any idea how can I fulfill my aspiration? Now I have one but it may not be accurate. I am thinking about selling my current set Nokia E71 but it is difficult to get an attractive price. I will be happy if I can sell it around nine Taka. I know it’s a big amount but its current market price is about twenty. Although it will be more important when 3G however will start in our country because it’s a good set for video calling and internet using but there is no front camera in general Android.

A horrible journey by bus at night -Bangladesh Transport System

I hope you are fine and I am also fine after passing a horrible night including half of a day. It was a journey from my home town to my campus.
In my life bus journey is not a sudden matter, from my childhood it has been considering as a regular and easiest task to me. Science three year old I have been journeying by bus. Several times I have to face many difficulties and it was one of them but not the worst journey. Something was wrong that can't be forgotten easily.
It was started slightly dramatically, day before yesterday I went to visit our land property with my father at Magura, Satkhira and fortunately I meet with one of my younger brother called Shohag, my university's junior student. It was nice to saw him that we can go together to the campus. I visited his home and familiarized with his family and made anagreement to buy two tickets for our journey. After passing a happy moment I came back to my house than again went bus terminal for collecting two tickets. There were several traveling agency and I chose “AK Travels”.
Our starting time to start journey was last day night at 8pm. We arrived on time and our seat number was so good. It was a normal non-ac bus. We started our mission without any problem.
But that day luck was not in our fever and after three hour near Magura Sadar bus's head light has damaged and we can't move our bus. Nobody was there to help us and I recalled about“Titanic”tragedy but there was no heroin just only a helpless night. Several phone calls were made to acquire help to our nearest bus but they didn't help us. We have nothing to did just wait and wait. At last we decided to run our bus slowly up to nearest bus-stop. We hoped we must get help there but again we had to wait for luck. It was really terrible to us. There are several girls and women. They had to supper at that night. But still I was pleasant. After a long time our bus supervisor managed another bus with a limited seat for women and girls. But what would be happen to us? Waiting and waiting.There was no open shop for food or water. It was over midnight under the open sky. Almighty helped us that there was no rain in that night. Now it was intolerable to me. At last we got a bus but no seat. Again pain and pain, at list three hours in a same position. I felt that there is no leg with me.
Here was not terminated it was just preliminary to tolerate more pain. At “Doladia ferry ghat” we trapped in a big traffic jam. Still I was standing on the bus for another two to three hour. No water, no food for a long time. Sometimes we get down and again get up in the bus. We have nothing to do. We tried to enjoy night, darkness and surrounding people like us. But with a hungry body there is no beauty.
At that time bus supervisor managed another AC-bus from his agency after several request. It was great, within five minute we went to dream world at the last six seats. I can't remember when we cross the river.
In a moment I got up with getting a hard pain by hitting with front seat. Just it was another side of river but it was six o'clock that means we are passing about 10hrs in a bus journey. Still there was another hundred miles from my destination. Bus driver try to cove his losses time by running fast. It was good but not for me. At the last seat I have been repeatedly jumping and getting pain up to Dhaka.
I was happy to get down from the bus. After taking a breakfast at 11am aging started my journey to Gazipur. Again I had to trap in traffic jam for more than three hours and I hope it is well-known to you. After a long wait I come to my campus at afternoon. That means I need at list twenty hours to come from home. Is it not tolerable to you?
Shopping with my father.
After a long time I has come home last night from my university. At my campus I never need to go for vegetable shopping with a Gunny bag hanging on my hand. In case of many of us it may look odd, sometimes for me too. As a graduate student you may feel shy to carry a gunny bag for kitchen shopping . You may think it should be done by a house mate or any other labor. It's not your work.
But do you ever think about your old father? Specially in our country most of us coming from middle class family and they have little ability for keeping a house mate. As a result this task is a regular duty for my father though he is a professor of a university where I feel shy to go with him.
Today's afternoon my mother call me for going to market with my father for kitchen shopping. I was sleeping and felt very disturbance and thinking about....why I need to go...I can't do it....Let him go alone....what's my friends call me or if a girl see me at road with a gunny bag....than what will be happen? and so other.
I was very careful about a girl even she was unknown to me but never thought about my father...it's reality.I don't know about you but I think you are not so different from me. Am I correct?
However after a time we reached at market and my father all the way gossip with me. It's OK but when he found a old friend in the market then he start gossiping again with his friend. I just stay with him. I observe that he is very happy to take me with him and he feel proud that he have a young son. At the time of shopping we bought many things about 15kg. It was really heavy in weight. I carried two bag that was hard to me. About one kilometer round we need to walk with those goods for half an hour. My hand was starting to pain. What about his weak hand? It is only a single day for me with a person who helped me but every day in every weak my father have to do it alone. Do you ever think about this. Do you ever go with him? If not, than try to feel his responsibility one day you need to take this humble responsibility for our family..........And when you will be a father.
